Junior & Youth Players

WHY JOIN ASHBY IVANHOE FOOTBALL CLUB?

  • We give all children the opportunity to play and have fun with their friends, it’s not all about winning
  • We put fun, friends and development above win at all costs
  • We give all children a minimum of 50% playing time at Junior soccer levels and 1/3rd playing time at youth soccer, no child will not play in games they attend for the sake of winning a match
  • All development coaches are fully vetted via the FA CRC process
  • Each team has at least one FA level 1 qualified coach (or working towards) taking training and matches
  • All of our development assistants are FA CRC vetted
  • All of our teams train at the Main ground and on 3g facilities over the winter, not the local park.
  • We have a clear pathway for players to progress from Junior to Senior at ONE CLUB

WE ARE LOOKING FOR HEAD COACHES AND ASSISTANTS TO LOOK AFTER EACH TEAM – ARE YOU INTERESTED?

Junior and Youth Football Team Coaches/Assistants

(to manage and coach the players at both training and on match days)



  • The Club supports you to gain the necessary CRC certificate
  • The Club supports you to gain your Level 1 Coaching badge (if you do not possess one)
  • The Club provides you with your necessary Club Wear for training and matchdays
  • Have fun coaching players and building their skills and confidence

Teams Play EACH SATURDAY MORNING in the Tamworth League (UNDER 7's to Under 13's)

The team plays HOME fixtures either at the Main Ground or at Western Park/Hood Park and AWAY fixtures at various locations in and around Tamworth
